Aggregated Forest Carbon Farms: Cultivating Carbon Solutions for Sustainable Land Management

The project, spearheaded by Verst Carbon, is a monumental endeavour that has successfully united numerous privately-owned lands across a diverse range of Kenyan regions, in a collective aim to embark on Afforestation, Reforestation, and Restoration (ARR) initiatives. With a vast expanse of over 800 acres sprawled across Narok, Kisumu, Nyandarua, Siaya, Makueni, Nyeri, Meru, Nairobi, Laikipia, Uasin Gishu, Bungoma, and Busia, this project stands as a beacon of communal environmental stewardship. The overarching goal is to generate carbon credits which will, in turn, fuel further restoration endeavours, creating a virtuous cycle of environmental rejuvenation and sustainable practice. Through CarbonCascade, the vision of fostering a greener, carbon-neutral landscape is being transformed into a tangible reality, setting a remarkable precedent for collaborative ecological restoration.
